Ed Sheeran
We are so lucky to receive major funding from the Ed Sheeran Foundation. They have been doing incredible work in the UK since launching in 2025 and we are excited to continue our journey with them as they support our development.

K Dot
Our first ambassador, K Dot, is keen to support our young people and shine a light on the work we do to elevate young artists. With a long-standing career, an extensive catalog, and unmatched talent on the mic, K Dot is widely regarded as one of the leading figures in the bassline scene.
About My Career:
Starting out at the age of 13, Kdot quickly gained notoriety in the Sheffield music scene. His skill set of impeccable flows and punchlines got better with each freestyle. Being able to merge with any genre has been one of his biggest assets, and this was proven when he and his childhood friend AK jumped on the quickly rising 4x4 scene and recorded the legendary smash hit Get Milli Get Mad.
This song went on to become one of the most popular bassline songs of all time. After this came a barrage of hits in the bassline scene. Alongside his dominant reign in bassline, he was simultaneously making major waves in the UK grime scene, having one of the most legendary clashes of all time on Lord of the Mics.
Since then, he has gone on to appear on just about every major UK platform, such as Fire in the Booth, Mad About Bars, BBC 1Xtra, and Red Bull, just to name a few.
Due to his extensive bassline catalog, he has not had a year since he started where he hasn’t been booked and busy—but never more so than as of late. His recent consistency, with two successful releases in the space of six months, has thrust him into the forefront of the bassline scene.
He is coming off the biggest festival run of his career. Expect big things from Kdot in the near future.
Why Music Is Important:
Music is so important to me for many reasons. One is because, personally, without it, I probably would have been doing something negative, as I was a product of my environment.
Secondly, music is in my blood. My whole family are music lovers—my favorite uncle was a DJ. I listen to and write music as a form of therapy.
Why I Believe in Tracks:
I think Tracks as an organization is vital for the community. Giving young artists a space to be creative around other artists is amazing, especially at such young ages. I’m a product of a youth project—I literally started writing and making music at my local youth club. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am.
So Tracks carrying that torch for young artists in the city, giving them a place to come and hone their skills, is amazing.

Our Patrons
We are so lucky to be supported by a small number of individuals who help fund our weekly clubs, help purchase instruments and keep our doors open. Please do support us with as little as £5 per month.

Steve Edwards
We’re delighted to welcome Steve Edwards as a new ambassador for TRACKS. A singer, songwriter, producer and dynamic live performer, Steve has built a vibrant international career shaped by both his Jamaican heritage and his Sheffield roots. Related to the legendary Peter Tosh and Jimmy James, Steve draws inspiration from artists such as Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell and The Beatles, blending soul, jazz and contemporary sounds into his distinctive style. His collaborations include Basement Jaxx, Bob Sinclar, Cassius, Richard Hawley, Sly and Robbie, The Shapeshifters, and Moloko. A two-time Grammy nominee, World Music Award winner and four-time US Billboard Dance Chart number one artist, Steve brings a wealth of experience and creativity. As an ambassador, he shares TRACKS’ mission to empower and inspire young people through music, expression and opportunity.

Community Youth Team
The Community Youth Teams support us with 2 fantastic youth workers who attend our groups. They also help us signpost to services for young people in Sheffield.

Spirit of Sheffield
We were supported by Spirit of Sheffield with the resources to create and engage in positive and meaningful activities. Often we are unable to provide sessions due to a lack of quality equipment or space. Spirit of Sheffield funded equipment and space which allows us to make music in almost any setting. This support has been invaluable and has led to incredible music making throughout our provision!

Youth Music - Trailblazer
We were lucky enough to receive funding for our Lyrical Genius zine in 2023-2024. The funding helped us create a zine to showcase the project and how we revolutionised our way of encouraging people to write lyrics.

Violence Reduction Unit
The VRU supported us to work with young people in care through an exciting collaboration with Laces gym. In 2024 we trialled our youth club, planned sessions, events and groups resulting in a report, mixtape and resources to support our community.

Manor Lodge Primary School
We moved to Manor Lodge Primary in 2021 and it has been our Saturday Morning Home ever since. We are so grateful for the school for supporting our vision to bring more music to the area.
