Open Mic

Our young people have told us that they want a space not just for making music, but also for conversation, time to relax, play, and eat together. A place where they can bring friends who might not want to make music but love supporting their friends at gigs. They want a place to test out new music and perform somewhere relaxed at our open mic nights. In addition to the TRACKS Open Mic nights, we will host a number of workshops throughout the year.

The Details: Tracks Youth Club @ Mary Street Live:

September 9th - December 2nd (no club in half term)

Who: Anyone aged 11-18

Youth Club Hours: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Open Mic Nights:  14/10, 18/11

4:30 PM - 6:00 PM (show starts at 5pm)

Where: Mary Street Live, 95 Mary Street, Sheffield City Centre

This club, new to 2025 started after the success of our Lyrical Genius workshops, VRU Reaching all Voices, extra events/gigs and Laces Boxing collab. We have been supported by a very special funder, Ed Sheeran Foundation, who will allow us to run our own nights at Mary Street Live. We are also supported by the Community Youth Team who provide us with a dedicated youth worker, opportunities to perform at events and connections to local services.
